Hi all, I've got a rear broken spring on my 04 octy diesel and was wondering what the spring markings represent?

There are 1 x blue and 3 x yellow dots on the spring, so how do I go about getting the right spring? When I purchased the

car I was told it had sports suspension.

If you phone up your Skoda dealer, give them the vehicle details (registration and VIN), tell them the markings on the spring, they should be able to get the correct one.

Springs have different stiffness ratings, as you can't tell the stiffness just by looking at them they are marked with paint.

on a 2004 car the correct spring will be highlighted at skoda they just help with older cars where the correct one isnt highlighted so can be traced using the colour markings
