That looks about right. Some look so much different. One in the alloy wheel archive was ment to be dropped 40mm but it looked like a tractor

If your lowering for looks, then you have to go for coilovers IMO. Springs are ok for a slight drop and improvement in cornering but they really need shocks matched to them or the ride can get a bit bouncy. Just because you get coilovers dont mean you need need to drop it on the floor either, decent coilovers and a sensible drop will result in a nice ride hight and still retain a nice amount of comfort.

That's nice. Don't want to go to low, want to mainly improve handling without too much damage the the ride. Not sure if ill go down the coil over route maybe just shocks and springs. Decisions decisions

Excuse the **** poor photo, the iphone really has the worst camera ever lol

Weitec coilovers, thats all teh way down at the back and with 7 threads left on the front.

Recently dropped further on the back by removing the adjuster cup and resting on the other cup, as well as lowering to 3 threads left on the front, looks awesome as it sits at the mo, i love it

Hope it helps, Elliott

How easy are collies to adjust ? is it a quick job or is there more to it ? There must be a fail safe so you don't end up with two different hights?

You dont fancy selling the adjuster ring on its own do you?

Aslong as you keep them greased they still keep adjustable pretty well. To make sure mine were the same I wound them to the top and marked the ring facing me with tipex and just counted the turns. This was the best way I could find to get them equal.

When adjusted do they stay or could they work loose? Are they adjusted from under the wheel arch or under bonnet?

For the front, remove the wheel, unscrew the Allen key thread in the adjuster cup, most helpful if u leave his facing you. Then just wind it up or down with the tool. Iv had mine on 6 months and went to lower it the other day. Bit of wd40 and after a few turns I could get my hands round and turn it. The just count the threads you have left and do the same to the other side. I find one side is fractionally higher at the back even though they are both sat on the same thing so should theoretically be level. My drive way means it's never parked perfectly flat so I think this has effected the stance over time but it's nothing major :)

Thanks mate :)

Mine has two rings twists the bottom one to the height you want it then drop the other on top and it locks in place. On mine you don't need to take the wheel off.
