Sounds about right for a factory order, ordered mine in September, got it in December. So 3 months....

Update to my 2vrs's. ordered early jan. estimated delivery 2nd week of april. now they will b built 2nd week of april and delivered to uk for 6th may.

week 16 build. 5months for new cars with only arm rest and black wheels as options.

Ordered a new vRS yesterday from Crawley Down.It is build week 17-19,so be mid May sometime.

Ordered an Elegance 1.2 tsi (105) at the end of Nov 12 from dealer in Gloucestershire. No additions other than spare wheel & metallic paint.

When ordering car advised by dealer it would be 10-12 weeks before I would receive car (= Feb). Rang dealer in mid Feb to check on situation and was advised car at import depot and may be on transporter to dealership on following Monday. When I heard nothing more after 10 days (last week) I rang again and this time was told car was at distribution centre in Germany and it may be another 2 weeks before I could pick it up. Heard nothing since then. Hope I get it before end of March as my insurance renewal, MOT and Road Fund Tax are all due between 21 March and mid April.

First time I have dealt with this dealer having brought 6 previous Skoda's from other dealer in Glos area which whilst they had always treated me well has received mixed customer reviews and is now part of a larger franchise, whilst I had heard more favourable reports about this smaller company. The jury is now out!

Heard from dealer yesterday, Car expected at dealers Monday. Picking up Thursday

*grown* just found out that,my car will be delivered in May,as per my order form My salesman said that would be the worst case senario,when i originally ordered it.

Just had a call from the dealer to say my car is on a boat. Well actually I don't really know if it is I'm just guessing because others are.

WTF why ring me then?

I've just been told mine will be delivered tomorrow

mine was at the dock in the UK on Wed ... due to pick it up next week, but not sure what day yet.

Mine is stuck in Germany waiting for a boat for the next couple of weeks! At least it is built! Have fun with your new cars!

It probably won't make you feel any better, but mine is also stuck in Germany and has been for just over two weeks.

Shame I can't pop over and get it myself.

Does anyone know if you can still get m&s vouchers for a long delay? And if so how long a delay?

When did the dealer let you know about build week etc?

About 3-4 weeks after the order.

Hopefully picking mine up by the end of the week, which will be 11 weeks in total.

Picking up my vRS Estate tomorrow, ordered on the 23rd of Jan so that is approx 2 months.

Dealer ordered mine last Friday morning,but still no build week :(

I've got a reg, but the car isn't at the dealers yet.

My childish side chose the reg ending UBJ just need to add a question mark at the end somehow.

I ordered last Monday and have been told week 20. Which is week commencing 13th May.

Just been told by the dealer that I can't choose the reg on my car, despite asking to do so when buying? Car is currently waiting shipping so will hopefully be here in April (ordered 5 feb)

They normally have a list of 20 or so reg plates they've been allocated that you can choose from, so you don't get much choice.
