Car built December 5th. Dealer confirmed this morning that they should get it January 3rd. All being well, I plan to pick it up on January 5th.

Hi there, I ordered an elegance 1.2 tsi (105ps) at the end of October and have been allocated a build week for the end of Jan. I was wondering how long I'd be waiting until it gets to the dealer? Any chance of a 13 plate?! :-)

I ordered a new Fabia 1.6 TDI CR 105 bhp estate in Rosso Red to replace my 1.9TDI PD 105 bhp in Coriander Red, having now done over 103,000 miles, on 12/12/12 (iconic date!) and told three months delivery from order.

Hoping Skoda have got their manufacturing schedule in order by now but we must remember right hand drive cars are in the minority and I suppose, it is easier to make left hand versions.

I hope I do not experience the situation of the gentlemen who had to renew his tax because the car was late.

Dealer told me, Skoda only make to order! The car market must be very slow not to have cars ready to deliver.

Waiting in hopeful anticipation.

Ordered Fabia Vrs on 28 November, just has confirmation its been built week 3, yay next week. Been told it should be here 3 to 4 weeks after being built. Would have liked it to go into March for the new reg but who cares im just so looking forward to it arriving.

Picking mine up in just under 2 hours.

Built Dec 5th.

With the dealer Jan 4th.

Standard Monte 1.2/105ps. Only add on should be a spare tyre.

Ordered Elegence 1.6 tdi cr on Dec 30, latest estimate was week 14 April 1, not a good omen!

So, we need to add a month to the build date to get the delivery date!

Just ordered a Fabia Estate 1.2 TSI DSG, Cappuccino from Claybanks of Eccles.

Only extras are rear parking sensors, Elba alloys in place of the standard Comets and a spare wheel.

Delivery quoted was mid March

Although I had not seen it advertised there was a free VAT deal included.

Will update as actual delivery information becomes avalible

Prior to order of Fabia vRS was advised by dealer to expect 12 week wait and looks to be roughly on course

Just today had a confirmed build week (3) - i.e. w/c 14 Jan

Told to expect car to be ready to collect 4-5 weeks by Skoda UK, will be speaking to dealer once en route.....

Can't wait!

Ordered my Monte Carlo on the 5th, was given the preliminary date of 25th April.

Sat nav and maxidot extras.

Ordered 1.2 Fabia Hatch Elegance DSG 105 on 25/11/2012. Car built week 2. Now in stock at Dealers in Doncaster. Looking forward to collection on Fri 25th Jan. Two months start to finish - not bad.

Got Satnav, leather, hot seats, H lamp washers, swivelling lights, rear electric winders, sunroof and GSM preparation and of course the obligatory spare wheel which I am told is full size. A selfish treat to mark retirement which will provide a few hours of distraction from age and idleness - I hope.

We ordered a Monte at the end of Sept last and collected the first week in December. Had likewise been quoted up to 16 weeks but it turned out to be exactly 10. Dealer appeared surprised that they had received the order before the New Year.

That might be the difference in customer service between Skoda and VW. Skoda seem to manage expectations better, when I ordered a Golf I was told 12 weeks and it arrived in 16.

I've not been given a build week yet but been given a quote of 10-12 weeks lead time.

I'm a little confused about the latest baseline spec. I believe that they come with blacked out trim and tinted windows now, but do they come with the tinted look headlights and LED rear lights? The Skoda website seems to be a bit sketchy on the exact details.

Yes to black trim, tinted windows, dark headlights. No to LED rear lights.. not like audi's anyway

right, that's cleared it up ... the website mentions

The mean look is completed with LED lights, rear diffuser and chrome exhaust

Believe the LED reference is to the front DRL and from recent observations of the Fabia II vRS on the road, they also appear to be on with the main lights (note rare to see a vRS round here but I've seen two in two days )

Ordered 28 Nov Built week 3 with dealer today pick it up Thursday, Its the only time I can get to the garage. To say excited is a understatement

I was given build week 4, dealer hasn't had confirmation that it has been built. Ordered in oct :'(
