I'm going to be changing the gearbox oil on the vrs this weekend. Quick question...how much oil does it take?

Just under 5 Litres

gearbox oil is just under 2 litres of G060726A2 - buy two 1 litre bottles

make sure car is level then remove filler plug, then drain plug, retorque to 25Nm, fill box until it drips from the filler hole

you are then supposed to run engine for 2 mins, and recheck level

box should be filled level with the bottom of the filler hole.

p.s. a funnel and length of tubing make refilling much easier

The O2J gearbox is 2.1 litres

Yeah capacity is "1.9 + 0.1 litres".

You'll need a 17mm hex key socket for the plugs.
