Right car has a brand new turbo from CR 1 week old,Has a decat large intercooler d/v and has a stage 1 remap.Turbo has done 750 miles now.Right today when I was out I got some smoke on run down when I released the throttle??? It was a mix of fuel and oil never did it again but it does run rich and really smells but have been told it will cause of the decat and map.But it should not smoke!It does smoke a bit when heavy on throttle but again it smells like fuel.I want to be sure the bloody turbo isn't fooked!!!! It does not use oil what so ever and runs perfect.I have had this ever since I decated it??? Any mechanics or others who have any idea cause truthfully I am at my witts end with it..MY bloody track cars don't give me as much trouble as this has done....I have also pulled all the intercooler pipes and there clean,not one drop of oil in intercooler? Could it just be turbo seals breaking in? I will be calling CR tomorrow to see what they have to say....thanks guys any advice would help..

If you get smoke on start up as well as on over run, then yes it could be the valve stem oil seals, if not then they are prob OK.

More likely the smoke is a symptom of your car overfueling/running rich.

Have you checked the vacuum/boost pipes ??? make sure the FPR pipe is'nt leaking.

cheers bill i only get smoke a bit on start up and on over run not alot though...start up is only now and then
