Some of the roads down here are terrible!

maybe you should volunteer to pay more then.

Just checked and mines gone up to £115

£215. emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Some members have mentioned varying tax prices between VRS's but it seemed very random I recall, didn't even seem to be based on engine code!

Just checked on the dvla site though for mine and I'm the same - £130 :(

Has gone up to £115 for me

Mines £110 on an 07 fabia vrs

£110 for my SE vrs 2007 plate.

All cars have been rebanded, some including my dads Fabia greenline have actually gone down in price. My superb is now £200 to tax for 12 months.

Date of Registration 6 Months 12 Months Band CO2 (g/km)

28 Jul 2003 – 1 Sep 2004 £63.25 £115.00 E 138

1 Sep 2004 – 1 Jan 2007 £71.50 £130.00 F 143-146

1 Jan 2007 – 31 Mar 2007 £63.25 £115.00 E 140

Mine was £110 in February, it was gone up again in April.

Mine was £110 at the end of March :-)

Cut your whinging, my 1.4 16v is now £190 for the year. I wondered about getting the CO2 emissions measured to see if I can get it re-banded (aka council tax) :giggle: . It seems to be in a rather high band to me for only a small car and 1.4 petrol, hardly a gas guzzler. This is for the AUB engine code, I believe the later 1.4 petrol after the face lift is in a lower tax band but then I think they were re-tuned to 75 bhp instead of 100 bhp. Anyone know anything about appealing what tax band you are in?

Mine is in band F (146g/km), just had the renewal come through, and its the same as normal - £125, yet when I check the dvla website is says £130 :wonder:

Car tax went up in April and the letters sent out before then have the old price

But I have only just received it, so technically it should have the new price amended. Cheeky ****ers! Pretty poor if they can't even print a price correctly.

It does say on the letter that the price displayed may be subject to budget change.

Clearly because of the number of notices sent out, these were done before the latest price change.

My Octy is 149g so has gone up a fiver to £130 for the year.

I believe there is some small print stating that prices could change and that you have to pay the amended price

DOH! :peek: :wall:

Did the Chancellor not mention he was putting up road tax, along with VAT and everything else related to motoring, must have slipped his mind when he was crowing about the 1p per litre he was saving us in fuel :swear:
