Thanks for the update.... I am setting the ball in motion soon for mine, starting with the air induction / strut brace, then uprated pads then I'm going for one of those... your glowing review has just persuaded me that this is the way I am going to go

Thats a pity. I got a quote today from Adrian Flux... just playing around really, but I announced that I had a strut brace, upgraded pads, fluid, air duct, green filter and digital tuning box:

I have a Dragon box, how do you describe this modification to your insurance company?

I'm impressed with the performance its a bit smokey and the fuel ecconomy is not so good. Driving enjoyment is much improved though!

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update

Hello I have a Amunsen MIB2 with MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T SW0359 HW28 PART NUMBER 5Q0 035 874B I have been looking very where to find an update as i believe there is SW 0363 H31 that will work on my system. I have also read that SW 0456 HW41 also works but i am not 100%. is there anyone that has either of these software or hardware they are will to share or has anymore information that could help me please would be much appreciated. I have seen @SashaGrace @pab

Does having a vRS with 4X4 bring a noticeable improvement to the car?

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks

History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get

Hi all, Recently picked up a 2017 1.0 TSI. Every time I start the car there’s a noticeable ticking/rattling noise that lasts around 45 seconds then stops completely. Happens on every start, not just cold. Car runs perfectly once warm with no issues at all. Has anyone experienced this on the 1.0 TSI EA211 engine? I’ve read it could be the Turbo actuator rod linkage? Car was serviced by Skoda main dealer a month ago. Any experience or advice appreciated. Video link of said noise: https://y
