Just like to say on the forum many thanks to James @ Allams, for his efforts to ensure my new Monster is available to collect by the end of the month :)

Received this in my early morning e-mail B)

Could not ask for better customer service; thanks :)

I love that never seen it in white but that looks bloody cracking, i'm really liking the Yeti at the moment, Also Allams seem a great dealership to deal with.

Looks stunning

Hope you are keeping the optional blue bits of protection :p

well done TP and James.

Wow!!! I wish I had had a picture of my Yeti on the truck! It just completes the whole process nicely! Not long to go now TP for Yeti3.

Nice....really like the :moon: alloys as well...

Which alloys? Are they a standard spec for my12 cars?

Have to admit, it does look good in white!

the wait is nearly over..

bet you'll be like a dog with 2 ducks next week

16" Moon Alloys and 215/60 R16 95H tyres ;) and no not MY12 or any other standard UK spec :D She's a very Special Build; thanks to some very helpful people at Skoda Auto a.s. Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic :)

That's great news and she looks very fetching in Candy White, really suits her. Hope you enjoy your new car, I'm certain you will.

Build weeks, Emden, Ships & Sheerness are now all fading into the distant memory. Although you were a week behind me build wise, your delivery to dealer was only one day later - and your Sheerness bound ship even took the scenic route across :giggle:

Thanks Bassa,

and likewise, looking forward to seeing photos of your new Yeti after you collect :)

Candy White is a great colour(or non-colour). Sitting in mine at the moment, enjoying the White and Gobi interior. Allams and specifically James are great to deal with too.

Only 6500 miles in 4 1/2 months now.

Absolutely no regrets about buying this wonderful beastie, or the 5 month wait.

Great to see your 3rd SM has now arrive TP. You will shortly be re known as The Plumber as opposed to The Pedestrian...... :D

Mike

Congrats on the new ride and welldone on being so patient.

I must say the "special build" struck me at first, I thought you ordered a 2.0 TDI and not a Greenline!

Hopefully the 16" wheels would provide the ride you wanted after trialling and testing with the original SE!

You had 3 Yeti's? I remember seeing the Red 140 SE on the forum, but you had another one?

Thanks Mike,

not sure on dropping the Pedestrian bit, after all she's a 110 4x4 :giggle: even the GreenLine II is quicker

Well at least you had a big enough break between red Yeti Squared and white Yeti Cubed so you might not even realise it is slower!

I find the 110BHP drives very well, especially as a 4x4 as you get more torque and the 6 speed gearbox.

Plus as Octygone proved to me you can get it remapped and it makes it hilariously fast.

Hi,

yes long story but in brief my first Yeti order in August 2009 was not built to spec :( so I had to reorder; same again but with a couple more options; the Pat Monster. So this new Monster is my 3rd Yeti order B)

That open heart or is it brain (yes brain) surgery stuff at Shark ;) was far to scary for me, wouldn't want to put her under the knife  no matter how skilled the surgeon.

Now can you imagine James Nesbitt working on a car

So pleased for you that the White Lady is soon to be in your clutches after a long gestation.

Be sure to keep her clean and treasure her. You, of all contributors to this forum, deserve some real motoring pleasure for all the unstinting help and assistance that you give to us all, and for which we are properly grateful.

well done Tim

or - should she be "The Ice Maiden"?

Noticed the transporter was parked outside of a joinery firm, are you going for a bespoke wood trim?;)

hehehe! Love that!

It does mean James's transporters do stop some way away from the showroom!
