i think im losing the plot!!

for a while ive thought my fan blower wasnt bolwing as it should,still doing its job but not quite right

however when im in reverse and moving back wards it blows a lot harder.

Do i ring the guys in the white coats to come get me -or--can you guys help?

That's normal. It goes into recirc mode when you reverse so you don't get exhaust gases coming inside!

also if you feel your blower isnt as powerful then check condition of pollen filter. renew if its dirty will help your blowers work alittle better (or alot as in my case)

Where is the access to this filter please? Is it in the passenger foot well?

I had the same thing with mine lol thought mine was a bit dodgy but it works normally

Get your head down in the passenger footwell, right hand side, look up, two slidy clips holding it in. Pull cover off, pull filter out and be prepared to get covered in leaves, insects and dust.
