squeaky front wheels

Featured Replies

hi guys and gals need some help here my car is squeaking at the front end it disapears when i touch the brakes, have had this before changed the pads and the noise disapeared but has now come back. Also getting vibration through the steering when breaking are we thinking warpped discs ? Cheers for any help

Could be crud building up on the discs. Sounds like you have a caliper that's sticking and might be causing uneven wear

I had vibration under braking which was fixed by changing the discs.

The ones that vibrated were bought off ebay so i assume were made from poor/cheap metal!

My new ones are Brembo's, work well. Where did you get your current discs from?

brakes international had pads and disc from them had a replacement set of pads from them after they started squeaking and upon inspection the pads were crumbeling away either due to a poor pad material or something stuck in caliper which i can not see really happening think i might go for some new discs, lesson learnt dont be cheap on brakes

A lesson i learnt and will never buy cheap discs again.
