I don't know about you but I am getting a bit fed-up with Golf GTI/TDi/BMW/Type-R owners trying to race me!! When will they learn that they can't beat us!!!

On the subject of this chat thingummy. I tried it and failed miserably and yes I am a complete putz unless its easy peasy to do and I would like to see an instant messaging doofer like that on vortex is that posible for us eedjits ? :stupid:

PM's from the forum are failry instant, in that the next refresh it will pop up. the main site pms are not this helpfull. (I know two systems, but you makes your bed and have to lie in it.)

Not knocking Vortex, but I thought there IM thing was broken as it never seemed to work.

Can't really see it happening. That little badge is great, you only get to play when you want to. Must admit I have been called all sorts of names and had my parentage questioned numerous time because of it!

..the ambulance is the perfect Q car, no-one ever "has a go" unless they see you at any pace, but sometimes I do wish people gave it a little respect, as they seem to glance and assume you are going slow and thus pull out in front of you at the last minute!

With reference to the vRS police car, when I popped into the Skoda dealer in Bradford on Saturday the guy there was telling me that they supply some local authority cars, police cars etc. All references to dealers and manufacturers have to be removed from the vehicle ie plain tax disc holder, no mention of the dealer on the number plate, that sort of thing. However the police have made an exception for the 'Oh no, another good Skoda', 'Yes, it's a Skoda' etc stickers that are placed in the back window.

Obviously Plod shares the same sense of humour and irony as the rest of us!

those stickers are soon going to be removed to be replaced by something much closer to home, possibly in most of our cars.......
