How to switch off daytime lights?

Featured Replies

Not sure if I accidentally threw a switch or if they are supposed to be on by default, but I noticed on my second day with the Yeti yesterday that the daytime lights are on. Haven't particularly noticed this on other people's Yetis.

I did try to turn them off using the manual but it didn't work, all it did was turn the indicators on.

If these lights are supposed to be on then I'll leave them on but if not, does anyone have any idea about turning them off as I've run out of ideas, can't understand why they are not turning off as per the manual instructions?

Thanks

These lights are on by default. You can turn them off if you wish through the Maxidot system on the dashboard.

Why turn them off? They can only improve visibility.

Currently have mine on ... but been flashed a few times, would appear some motorists are not familiar with the Yeti style DRL's.

If you don't have Maxidot.

Amazing technology

Hi Guys and Gals, from April this year all new cars have to have DRL's fitted. Later this year or maybe early next year it will be law for cars with them to have them on.

Is the switch in the same place as the 'lesser' Fabias, hidden behind the inconvenient and fiddly fuse box cover ?

Thanks, I tried doing that several times on Saturday but all it does is put the indicators on.

As it's a safety feature of the car I'll leave them on but thanks to everyone for their comments.
