I'm half regretting not getting an estate now ! Mine is a company car and I'm getting sick of putting the back seats down to get any serious amount of kit in the back !!

The estate would add vastly to the speedy stealth effect also

It's 1mph quicker than the hatch too! So over a VERY long road... you'd beat the hatch

Going to have to take a long lunch so I can get to the DVLA, sort out my plate transfer, then pop over to White Dove, and drive away a happy man.

Should get that all done in under 2 hours... I hope...

Hope so! I'm booking the day off when I get mine, got 6 weeks holiday to use by now and December...

I could use many others, but I assume this is a family friendly forum, so wont use them.

However, car is outstanding. Very pleased to get it in the red. Sorted all the finance and everything out this afternoon, so all done and dusted.

But seriously, what an amazing car. My favourite bit so far? Winding down the windows, pulling up at a set of lights, dropping it into S, and wiping the smirk off the face of the girl who tried to cut me up on the M4.

Good lord this car doesn't half pick up speed :|

Drove away about 2:45

Most of the wait was because they were waiting for a girl to come back off lunch to produce an invoice.

Oh, I got to the DVLA at 12:35. Was stuck there until 1:45PM

Most agonising 70 minutes of my life. And now I don't think I feel very well after all the excitment/stress (bloody pain in the arse all this car buying malarkey, handing over lots of cash). The one thing I AM glad about is that I love this car already.

Yeah, I did. Only had the car 6 weeks but just didn't like it. Stupidly I thought I would like it as I used to have one years ago. I was 23 at the time though, obviously times change.

So decided to cut losses and chop it in.

And being run in you can boot it when you like

Getting an update shortly about mine, fingers crossed for delivery end of this month but I doubt it :(

The RED does look nice, but i think if i was you with the money you've saved. I'd get the smoked headlights fitted, [like on the monte carlo] would look great on the red car
