He couldn't get past me until I overheated and let him past but he's a good driver though with lots of track experience, with an LSD and 40bhp+, better tyres, etc... He would definitely set faster lap times IMO.

Yer that's what I'm saying it would have to be gone on lap times rather than overtaking as I felt uncomfortable overtaking anyone at around the same speed, didn't like the circuit at all. If it was a race you could make it practically impossible for someone to get round you and that's lame

Yep very true Luke. We will definetly have to organise an evening at Brands or something soon, a much better circuit with 2-3 obvious overtaking places. I don't actually know what a good lap time of Lydden is, not that it's hard to mess the lap up and get a bad time lol.

An MPS is a devastatingly fast car. One thing for sure is that he would have used a lot more fuel than you!

LSD as standard remember, decent coilovers with them being setup properly too, Paradas, FMIC, decat, etc... It's a quick car. To even stay anywhere near it I think it says a lot for the vRS. :p

It's a total sleeper too. I used to have a 3 but it wasn't an MPS unfortunately. Got a short ride in one at a recent meet, I was well shocked at how quick it felt. 20 something mpg though :no:

I think your car will do well to compete with one on a dual carriageway so all credit to you.

Yours has had loads of work and it's paid off, standard vRS's aren't even worth the fuel to play with

Maybe you should look into an LSD? You can see on the video when we are coming out of the far corner I just pull lengths into you as I'm putting the power down (well almost, it was still trying to spin as it was so slippery)

Pmsl! That's my mate, she gets scared easily as you can tell. It was her first time on track, but she enjoyed it in the end. Just trying to get her ready for Nurburgring in July, this is tame compared to that!
