Hello all,

I am probably a unique member as I am not writing from the UK or Ireland, but from the Czech Republic. I have been living here for some time and have had a first generation Fabia sedan with a 2 liter for many years. Recently I got tired of paying ridiculous repair fees for simple things like an oil change that I knew how to do in high school. So I have decided to take on the challenge of maintaining my car myself. I found this forum through Google and I hope that I will be able to find the help I need. Thank you for having me.

We have a few members from CZ and some in Prague as well

There has also been a few "Briskoda" trips to Prague in past years, with a tour of the Factory as well.

I used to have a 2.0i Fabia as well, nice car.

Have you ever been to the deserted Russian Airbase at Mimon just off the 268 to the North of Praha?

and also the big Skoda meet at Dorsky
