Not very good, but the best I could do. For some reason, white doesn't seem to work as well as other colours for me when photoshopping. Pretty bad though aren't they? Still, gave me a break from revision!

White wheels for the win though!

What I do is magic cut, make separate layer, then use photo filter and/or the contrast option, saturate the colour then change the brightness. If theres a better way though let me know..!

Like so:

Whilst I have no idea what most of that means, thank you! I'll have to have a play around. For most other colours I find just changing the saturation is good enough. Without wish to hi-jack, is magic-cut a CS4/5 feature, as I don't think I've ever seen it in my CS3.

Sorta similiar wheels

I used a clipping path to select the wheel, then turn that into a selection, copy and paste that into a new layer so you're just working on the wheel. Then it's a case of playing with Shadows/Highlights, replace colour and brightness/contrast. Then just used the eraser tool to bring back some detail from the previous layout like the bolt holes etc.

I tried to edit Elliot's, but black wheels on a black car casting black shadows are always fun to try to edit...

Ahh thanks for the tip! I normally just refine what I select, I never thought of editing the selected new layer.

I'll give Elliots car another go............

Edit:

:dull: I give up..
