Well I was basing it on the RNS315 and can confirm the maps are pre installed to an internal flash memory, leavig the CD and SD card slot free for use. In addition SD card access is very quick.

Bluetooth is built into the unit, however, no longer works on the MFD. DAB is an optional external module.

The 15% is still available but evenon the elegance parking sensors are deleted, apparently japan is an issue as well can't get then so VW and AUDi have priority

So even of you specced them at the moment I don't think it will arrive with them on

Fairly sure you can reject a car or get compensation if you made an order and it was accepted with parking sensors but doesnt turn up with them without consulting you first.

If your MY11 order had Parking Sensors as standard or ordered as an option then your MY12 car will come with them fitted. All cars have had to be reinputted into the system for MY12 so you can ask your dealer to check the spec on the system.

I am pretty sure your correct regarding MY11 plate in the system will have their orders honoured but MY12 will be totally different, my Amundsen although has the new disc set up seems still as quick, however I can not use nav and sd for music, however iPod connectivity is still there and audio disc you can use nav at same time

Even though the car configurator shows as being down for maintainence from the main page on the Skoda Website I have managed to find a link that you can access it from:

http://cc.skoda-auto.com/gbr/Pages/step1.aspx

It appears as though it has been updated for the MY2012 changes as it is showing the option for Amundsen+ for the Sat Nav and Parking Sensors as an option for the Elegance Model.

Looking at the on-line configurator it seems like the black roof on the VRS is now a no cost option. Thats me £375 down and I havn't even got my car yet.

Interesting that the IRC stickers are also a (no cost) option - I hope mine comes with them as I wasn't asked.

I think at the momment they are all coming out with them on. Mine is down to be built this week and so far it will not have the black pack on it which I would like  . It will have the IRC stickers which i don't like  and I've paid £375 for a black roof which is now a no cost option :'( . lol Something gone wrong here.

But at the end of the day I will be getting my car a lot quicker than I thought. I was told September/October when I placed the order.

I wasn't asked either but when I called in by the dealer to find out he phoned up and inquired as to if my car would come equipped with such stickers.

It will :D

what are the IRC stickers? ive seen a pic on here but not seen them as an option anywhere and tbh id rather not have them either although i am curious to know what they stand for

edit - international rally champions im guessing :wonder: still i dont want them

hmm interestingly, ive just gone through the car configuration and it says 'front fog lights' didnt think it came with those?? or is this a change for the new facelift?

The Optional Euipment page lists "Coloured Roof" as an option at £375, so the price hasn't changed, its just that it is in a different place on this unreleased configurator.

They are two small stickers, one above each of the side repeater indicators on the front wings. If you search the forum you will find some pictures of them.

Ok I was looking at the select colour section and it showed metallic with black roof at £440 and solid colours with black roof at £0. Must be some mix-up on the pages.

got that wrong lol

Black roof rails are standard on the Estate - says on brochure. I'll get my mate to fit parking sensors if I really can't park a car 23cm longer than the hatch lol :D

He works in a bodyshop and fits them every now and then for Skoda so no biggy :)
