As stated it is not a 0-60 debate but relates to something I saw on men and motors last night and concerns some of the cars that were in it.

The progamme is probably old hat and been debated.It was 'fastest road legal car 0-60.'

The point of the thread was some of the most phenomenal cars had been collared to take part.There were two amazing Audi Quattro's,one of which won it(about 3.0 seconds) and a twin engined golf :eek:

Does anyone know any of these cars or their owners and anything more in the way of spec(for the Audi's and that golf)?

My God the Audi just disappeared!!

Well the twin engined golf is basically 2 2.9 VR6 engines with turbo's. If you can imagine with a few engine tweaks these engines run 230hp each. So adding the turbo's and intercooler, and ripping the Mk3 golf apart it must weigh around 1300kgs with around 700bhp+ awd.

Although there was a twin engined NOVA at trax a couple of years ago the managed a 3.*** 0-60 which is pretty impressive !

I think that nova still turns up to Santa pod now and again.

The Golf was in Max Power ages ago and as said about it is a twin engine VR6 golf. very quick indeed. I've seen a blue Audi S4 that runs at santa Pod sometimes and that always puts in quick times but then it does have NOS

The twin engined Golf is an absolute monster, although dont think its the most comfy of rides lol

this thing runs around 550-600BHP..

It has been timed at GTI inters around 3sec 0-60...

it looks and sounds awesome!!!

well a standard ultima sport does 0-60 in 2.8

thats with 650 bhp
