We need to know if they are "really" error free too? ;)

Go to picasaweb. Download your pix. Copy the photo's URL then paste the photo URL in the small screen icon (3rd. to the right from smiley face)

Credit to the company for offering a discount code on these... roll on midnight ;)

Well, I can confirm that the discount code works

Got bored of waiting for pics so ordered DLR LEDs, fingers crossed they are the correct ones.

Took a quick look in handbook, look very easy to fit (even to a ham fisted fool like me!). Any pitfalls with fitting I should be aware of? It looks far to easy :giggle:

It's as easy as it looks... :)

The grills are a pretty tight fit so you may think they will not come out - but they will, and don't attempt this on a really cold day when the grills will be cold and brittle otherwise they can crack.

Still waiting on pictures and confirmation they are error free before I order, I've wasted enough money on bulbs that don't work.

fogs.jpgDid the fogs too.

They are error free, Have had fitted 3 or so days now, done about 1000 miles with them on and no problems. They took 3 mins to fit, easy. I am working away from home so can not do the pics, as my camera is at home. They look the same as dpmcd car on the first page but my car is white.

Just buy some.

I ordered mine yesterday, £21.25 including shipping to Norway isn´t bad. Looking forward to getting them B)

Not bad at all. More bulbs heading over to Norway! :giggle:

Just had email so say the LEDS are on their way

Now if it stays dry at the weekend I should be able to get them fitted.

Impressed by Ultraled's communication thus far.

Mine have arrived

Shame I will probably not get a chance to fit before the weekend

Must not break the grill :'(

Don't you worry about that. I have had mine removed several times, no problems at all. I wonder how to do to break it? You must do very wrong... ;-)

Mine came today, I will fit them tomorrow at work hopefully, I got two types of sidelight bulbs too.

Fitted... And appear to be working error free :)

The grill pieces were a bit tricky, but only because they are a snug fit and I was a bit wary of breaking any clips. Light units themselves pop out in an instant giving easy access to the DRL bulbs.

First impressions? Well, they're not yellow anymore... and they don't appear to be too cold (blue) either :). I've got some pics which I'll post later.

If there has to be a negative, I'd say that the first row of LEDs (nearest the base of the bulb) don't protrude through the apature enough to be of any real use, the light from these doesn't catch the reflector, possibly reducing the efficiency of the bulb as a whole.

Packaging consisted of the bulbs in a polythene bag, in a padded envelope. No retail packaging or addition protection, although mine seemed fine

Over all, I'm happy :)

(pics later)

I have had mine fitted for about a week now. No problems, BUT this morning I got a bulb error. Looked at the DRL and was lit ok. Turned on and off the engine and the error disappeared. Later today I got the same fault, but it reset straight away. I have started and stopped my car about 20 times today and got it twice. BUT then again I did this yesterday and got no problems. See what happens tomorrow.

Hopefully they will be OK :wonder:

Keep us updated on what happens

Let us know how it goes, looking at Bonedoggy there could be minor issues. Gives me some time to consider as I don't have my Superb yet!

Well, mine arrived this morning with UltraLeds's usual efficiency. Unfortunately I don't yet have the car to which to fit them! Hopefully that will arrive from Sheerness in the next week or so.....

And if they don't work I have a Plan B, which is to use them to replace the standard bulbs in the last remaining light fittings on our boat. Being nearly 25 years old, that doesn't have a Canbus!

Fitted the DRL's, first impression - they are seriously bright, nice white light though. I was in a multi-story car park, so I'll reserve final judgement until I see them outside in the daylight.

The opinion of the guys at work was "you'll get nicked" lol

After the two problems yesterday, I have had no problems today, Again my car has been on long and short trips. Stoping and starting quite often. So god knows what happend yesterday.

Drove to work today, an 80 mile round trip... no problems whatsoever :) Not a major difference when looking at these two images, but definitely more "crisp" and suit the car better in my opinion... after all, there's not many cars with traditional bulbs in the DRLs these days...!

Not been flashed at yet (or before for that matter)

If the superb is like the octavia, you can raise de intensity of the brightness on the leds ( or the halogen in fact, but never tried it)

I had H8 (fogs) in led then were transformed and now are on my reverse lights( BA15 socket, same as DRL)

anyway, being the same 68 miniled bulb on the fog it gave more light( 21w drl, 38w fog) than the 68 miniled DRL

DRL, not the same camera setup, photo looks a bit darker than really is
