Freedom membership?

Featured Replies

Why do some people have 'Freedom' on their status and what does it mean? Seems to be people with 1000's of posts.

Take a look HERE

Freedom means you are supporting the site by paying a (very small IMO) amount for membership.

Also gives you access to a closed area, a free "BriSkoda" sticker and you can sell cars here.

And maybe other stuff I haven't seen yet.

For the cost, I think it's a bargain.

Plus I believe in supporting sites if you are going to use them regularly.

I think my Freedom membership has expired but I can't find out. I certainly can't get into the Freedom area and my name is shown as Member whereas it used to show Freedom. I've searched for info on this but can only find the Help files which don't help!

If I am expired how do I renew as I can't find that either. I did PM ColinD but I suspect he's a bit busy at the moment. :hi:

To renew go to Shop > Freedom Support :)

Yeh, theses loads of cool stuff on the secret freedom bit.. Naked chicks, firearms, free pasties, a Chinese dog recipe book, and loads of cool stuff*

*not all of these things actually appear in the freedom section but i think I might pm colin about adding the dog recipe book

Thanks for the advice, not the easiest to find or to do! Perhaps when the Admins are less busy they could look at the procedure as I'm sure if it was less hidden more members would join.

At the moment it comes up with an error message that has to be negotiated. :wall:
