Any dealers doing discounts on Fabia VRS?

Featured Replies

My mum is thinking about ordering a new VRS to replace her 54 plate one , drive the deal is quoting a good price but i wonder if any dealers are doing discounts over the OTR prices ??

carfile.net is doing a basic car for £13894.80, i order my car though them, excellant service and the dealer in mansfield ring to confirm the order and order place in showroom as you do normally apart from no need to barter,

Last time I checked about a month ago, Drive the Deal were offering the same as current dealers with the VAT offer, so no savings to be had give or take.

I like the idea of Performance Mum - 0-60 in 7.2 seconds!!!

If you're prepared to use Skoda finance you'll be able to get 15% off RRP + 3 years free servicing. It's a good deal but wont apply to a cash buyer.

Really???

Thought the 5% vat offer was for all and it was just the 3 years servicing that was contingent on the pcp deal?

I'm pretty certain the VAT deal only applies if you take a Skoda finance package; might be wrong though.

The VAT deal applies to everyone who wants to purchase. The 3 year servicing deal is only available if you order through the Skoda PCP scheme.

Fair shout. I guess with the free servicing its a way of ensuring that cars coming back into the used programme at the end of a PCP have FSH, easier to trade on too. Quite a good call I guess as the money it costs to service the car they could quite easily get back on it with FSH.

It seems discounts are available but this is a cash sale but since they offered £3500 for my mums current 54 plate VRS with 42,000 miles on it in pretty much a1 condition that will be sold privately and not traded in

I went looking and test drove a VRS MKII. I was instantly offered a base one at £14200, which included the 3yr service package.

Is your mum a bit of a speed demon?
