Do you know what sort of bhp / torque your running ?

Well i had it rr before at 163bhp and 270ish ft/lb but not long after the turbo went so think thats why it was down on power so then had the hybrid, fmic and exhaust fitted but not remapped so maybe im around the norm 170ish now but not sure on torque as at the moment im still getting no clutch slip on my 80k standard clutch.

The polo was one of my mates aha. Been ripping them for being beaten by a fabia lol. Tbf to him, he was running 14.7's all morning. Says he missed a gear lol

Done it myself on one run couldnt get into 3rd and run a 15.8 lol it was the only video my mate took that was any good. Cheers mate you should of heard it inside with no seats and boot carpet :s

This was against the gti as you can see he had alot better reaction and very good final speed so clearly would of been the other way if he had a good run. As dom says though it doesnt matter if you win by an inch or mile, winnings winning. Seriously though I would love to do it again and work on my reaction time and get an uprated clutch and get the turbo mapped in to see the change.

On a side note IMHO a remapped Fabia alone should run low 15's all day long. With the odd one with a few other mods could drop into the 14's.

Slightly heavier than a fabia so probably high 14's, maybe a 15 dead. Not too shabby

I was thinking the same sir when I saw your time. I need to check terminals but sure it was 95 / 96mphish and has around the 200hp 300/lb.ft mark so I would agree.

Not at santa pod

But the organisers of santa pod ran the 1/4 mile day. Was on an airport runway (slightly bumpy and uphill) but all the proper gear

I struggled at this power level to get past the 14 second barrier.  Of course, much could be down to the driver....  I only managed a 13.7 once I got the stock GTB2260vk turbo on, and now 13.4 with the same turbo.  Hoping for better when the hybrid is fully tuned up and I learn how to start properly....

Yeah driver plays 90% in drag strip

With 195 i got a 14.4 so with an extra 25bhp at a genuine 220bhp i think knocking .4 of a second off would be quite realistic

But saying that you start pushing the boundaries of a diesel fwd car - not exactly designed for traffic light grand prix

So what sort of power running the GTB jason ?

Guessing 230 / 240 in standard form ?
