I have asked the dealer to add these to my spec as it now appears they are available at an extra cost of £60 but only with the electric lumbering chair.

He checked with Skoda UK and they confirmed they were.

If you go onto Skoda UK website and build your own Yeti it gives you the option but flags up that its only with the lay z boy chair.

Anyway he did say they were adding them to the order but he would check to see if this would have any effect on delivery date.

I'm not sure what the £60 option is for.

Possibly you can spec auto-dimming mirrors for £60? The electric drivers seat option still remains at £575.

I'm really pleased that SUK appear at long last to have provided this option on the Yeti!

I do wish however that they'd employ someone to write their specs/options in unambiguous english? It's not rocket science FFS

Indeed Johann....you might recall I seemed to have had rather a lot of input to the question of folding mirrors myself, at the time. Would be interested to know if they become available as an afterthought. Not the end of the world but I do miss having them.

I've have a MY12 Yeti delivered this morning and it has got the electric folding mirrors. They work in the same way as o the Octavia and Superb.

On the mirror button on the door you will have L, R, 0, a heated pictogram AND a fold mirrors in pictogram. Or just lock car and then press lock button on fob for two seconds. The mirrors will then fold in.

No they have the normal badges, the new Skoda logo won't be appearing on the cars for a while yet.

I may have to ask my contact for a couple of badge samples. Sent you an email James to see if you are in.

I'm a week old newbie! I dropped in at my dealer on Thursday and in the conversation I asked about electric folding mirrors as part of the spec now on the Elegance. He went through several documents etc and said that it was not and if I wanted them I needed the electric seat! Now I am more inclined to believe what has been said here on the forum..... probably cos I like the idea more! Here's hoping!!

Was under the impression that the folding mirrors were now standard even on vehicles with the manual seat. With the electric seat you get additional functionality; I think reverse dipping of the nearside :wonder:
