Hi,

I recently bought Recaro style seats for my Mk 1 Skoda Octavia. The seats are from a Mk 4 Golf.

I got the new seats in and tried to plug them in to the car (for airbag), but they didn't fit. The plugs are different on the Recaro style seats and the Octavia.

Both plugs have the same amount of pins and same wiring. How can I get round this?

Im thinking about going to the VW dealer and buying a set of plugs for a Mk 4 Golf and soldering them on the Octavia.
