Any one tried sticker bombing?

Featured Replies

Looking at doing my splitter but how the hell do I get all the stickers, going to try it if I don't like it I'll strip it back off again. Is it as simple as shoving loads of stickers on the splitter?

There's a fab vrs on tdisport owners club who's done his no. Plate surround. Looks mad.

Easy to get stickers.

EBay!!! There's millions for pennies

Just seen a company actually called stickerbomb, pretty much a book with hundreds of stickers in it, trouble is getting them to stick to the splitter, any ideas? I will give it a clear coat over the top to preserve them as well.

I was just about to send you a link to that sheet. Lol.

Just seen it myself.

Heat and a very clean splitter and like u said, clear laquer over it.

Heat? Going to try the splitter, if I like it going to do the spoiler as the laquer is gone on it and I have yellow browny looking spoiler! Gonna order the books on fri or go into whsmiths and get cracking.

Watch with the Lacquer... some of them make the colour in the stickers run.

My friend Gav done a spare front bumper...

check the ZR on my site below :)

Any way to know which lacquer to use? Will this stop the stickers from fading in the sun?

I would say the proper sticker bomb stickers are made not to fade means they are designed to go on cars.

The ones from the books are only ink on adheisive paper... not that durable tbh.

Well the car is going in within the next week or so to get a bit done to the paint work, behind the rub strips re doing the grill mirrors and a few other gashes, so I'll see when I can get these stickers by and post up some pics hopefully by the end of the weekend.

There's a civic lowered to the floor near me that's done this to their front splitter.

The amount of times I've seen it in pieces I'm sure they're the only thing holding it together.

Would it be worth sanding the splitter before I put the stickers on to make them stick better so to speak?

maybe just use scothbrite to ruff it up a bit

Right then stickers ordered maybe here by sat if not Monday, I'll have to see what day the car is going in to get all the work done to it, then I'll crack on ill post pics up once it's all done.

I was even thinking about buying a spare set of vents and stickerbombing them.... Intrested to see how you get on mate!

I'll get pics up as soon as it's done, if it's any good I'll look at the spoiler as the the lacquer is going on it!

Hmmm I have a 1994 Skoda F2 rally champions sticker. Yeah I was sad and bought it off ebay, lol. If I did this it might give me a chance to actually stick it somewhere
