Parada's vs. T1-R's

Featured Replies

Parada's win hands down...

Used T1-R's for months, switched to Parada's as T1-R's gave up on track and fast driving when they got hot. Parada's are so much better except in the wet, but I enjoy that as I find it fun sliding around everywhere understeering/oversteering in the wet etc... But in the dry they grip really well, very predictable and will continue using 'em.

You should try the Toyo T1 Sports. These are loads better than the R's and cost about the same too.

Paradas are the don dappa! Tread pattern is the best looking also FACT

Federals ftw lol

Wrong place for this thread?????

First off, not done this myself but:

Vreidstein Ultrac Sessanta, Bridgestone RE070 or maybe Goodyear F1 Assymetrics from reading "the boards".

Have to say, better off using more track oriented tyres on track, more road oriented on the road. I think that means at least two sets of wheels and tyres?! Assuming your road tyres might last a trackday if it's wet...

They do look nice :)

I have T1-rs and im a bit underwhelmed by them in all honesty, havent had the vrs too long though so it may just be me getting used to all the torque!

Does anybody else find that the Toyos hate standing water at much over 45mph?

whats the general consensus on rainsport 2s?

As I keep on repeating my self but no one seems to listen. If they did there would be never the need for another tyre's thread.

" Uniroyal RainMasters (Rain Sports) Awsesome in the Dry, Better in the wet." You will not find a better tyre for the price

THE END

So which tyre should I buy then .......... Yawn! I've got a lovely set tr1s they will do nicely I'm never ever posting on another tyre thread (unless I start 1)

Just go for Toyo R888s and be prepared to change them every 4000 miles or so... :giggle:

I've just noticed this thread has been up well over a hour. Maybe its not offensive enough... Or just the correct amount of boring-ness.

:rofl::rofl::thumbup:

Which winter tyre should I get?

I find my T1R's much better than the P6000's and the other Michelin's that I've had in the past......went thro' a lot of deep water yesterday (6" deep" ) and they were fine!!!! But I don't do track work, and I have a set of Michelin Alpins for winter.......plus I tend not to drive my car "standing still" :giggle: ....and I don't have has much power to worry the tyres. B)

Yes. I can remember driving on a soaking wet duel carriageway at about 60mph on the half warn Toyos and I got horrible aquaplaning.

I have replaced them with Rainsports and had no problems yet with them, although they do have more tread at the moment.

Shouldn't this thread be in the Fabia 1 section?

And yes, I am aware that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit :-)

You're just jealous because you don't have a Fabia........and/or worried if you meet some of the very fast Fabias in this section at Santa Pod.......as they will make you look as if you have selected reverse!!! ... :p .... :giggle:

My apologies for:-

i) not wishing to smoke my tyres in public

ii) not wishing to fly my car over the nearest humpback bridge, and

iii) not wishing to own a Fabia, as my grown up family would not fit in it

Also wondering when you are changing your name to fabdavchav ;-P
