An 11 Plate Matt Black Range Rover.....

Featured Replies

........with Uber Fantastic looking Black Gloss Wheels and dark tints spotted in Harrogate today

Tongue hanging out to drooooooooolll

I am seeing soo many matt black cars at the moment. Tends to look good on most high end cars, but theres a 1 series diesel at my gym that looks rubbish, and i passed a Fiat 500 yesterday that also looked wrong.

Interestingly, i saw a matt silver/grey huge merc at the weekend. First non-black matt paint job i've seen, and i wasn't impressed.

I was in Harrogate the other week at a Data Centre installing some kit.

Outside was two Audi R8s, three S Class Mercs, BMW M3, Audi RS5 and many many lesser Audis, BMs and so on.

There's quite a lot of money floating around that area!

There is a matt black Audi A5 coupe running about round wakefield, Looks quiet gangster drug dealer sort of look

There is/was a matt black bentley continental in york, saw it last year and was talking to the owner who was a down to earth guy, said it was a bugger to keep clean lol

But you have to clean them as soon as it gets slightly dirty or gets any bird muck on it.

You have to be loaded to run one of those.

Was it a proper Rangie or a RRS?

The BMW matt finishes look quite good. I see an M3 in matt grey quite often that looks decent. As said though, he keeps it clean - otherwise they look awful.

Was it done by a company called.......wait for it.....

'Gangsta Wrappers'

My coat awaits

Think it was the Sport, Steve. Never the less it was Uber Good

Ahhh, I guessed as much. Not a Range Rover then ;)

Now, a Discovery in a 'matt' frock - maybe....

Money can buy you a nice car, but it can't buy you class.

Or if you don't have either you can often finance a Sport. ;) :p

Very rare to see a wrapped FFRR.

(FFRR = Full Fat Range Rover. The proper one, not the Sport/diet version)

Or PRR I suppose, Proper Range Rover emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Still makes me smile, every time I see a RRS windscreen.... ;)

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ffrr

FFRR

Full Fat Range Rover - Term used by owners of Range Rover Sport cars to describe the bigger brother in the Land Rover range of vehicles. Origin started on the Rangerovers.net website when the owners of L322 Range Rover models described the (then) new model Sport which was smaller and less luxurious as Range Rover Lite. Range Rover Sport owners on the forum retaliated by christening the bigger car as the Full Fat Range Rover

Wow look at that cool FFRR cruising down the highway

LOL, nice! emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Plenty of this sort of thing round the Footballer's Wives bits of Cheshire. Frequently see a black Q7 which is even more ugly than a normal one. Like the love child of Uncle Fester and Ann Widdecombe.

Ah yes, the Q-Bus. Which can't park either. Makes me pleased and sad all at the same time, the sight of scuffed 20 and 21" rims emoticon-0108-speechless.gif

Horrible creation. Bad decision by Audi too....

I saw a vauxhall corsa the other day in matt black..looked like a blackboard!

Did you leave a message written in chalk? ;)
