I have a 10 plate octavia VRS.

At 19000 miles I replaced both the front tyre's, fair enough I thought, then when the car was serviced at 19500 both the rear tyres were condemned. The inside inch of both rear tyre's had the wires coming through, not fair enough I thought. i have driven an Audi S4 for many years and had 30000 miles to a set of rear tyre's. I have complained to Skoda about this and the first time they told me that I had damaged the rims, not true they were checked by the tyre replacement garage. Next they agreed to do a geometry test which has come out as being OK. Skoda UK admit there is a problem here but seem reluctant to do anything about it. WATCH THIS SPACE
