The Columbus normally automatically comes back on whenever I restart the engine. On one occasion yesterday it failed to turn back on and didn't respond to the on/off switch after the engine was running. I had to stop after about 30 minutes and the unit came back on when the engine was restarted a minute later.

Is this a common fault? And is it an indication of more problems ahead? Or just a glitch?

It happens on ours from time to time you can do a reboot when driving easily enough or just switch off wait a few mins and restart it

to reboot, press < > and the i (or voice command) buttons all at the same time.

Mine has done this once or twice, but I am running beta firmware on mine so its a bit buggy.

Thanks Mannyo. This looks like a two handed operation to me. And there's not much chance of my remembering it. So I'll do the switching off thing.
