Octavia vRS Mk1 Question

Featured Replies

Hello folks, I'm probably better known for my Fabia vRS but i have a quick question for everyone, Mk1 Octavia vRS owners in particular. I'm currently running about in a Vectra DTi which is presently up for sale. Someones offered me a swap for this Mk1 vRS linked below

Octavia vRS Mk1

Questions i have is this, at this kinda mileage should i be worried?

Is this a good price?

I'd be buying to sell on again so how much would you think i'd get back on it and how much interest would it generate on re sale?

Or should i just carry on trying to sell my vectra and not touch this?

Cheers folks :)

It looks like a tidy car and should be good for more miles but the words "dump valve" in the advert set alarm bells ringing for me.

Also Petrol cars (particularly fast ones)are hard to sell at the moment due to the high pump prices, couple that with the high mileage and I tihkn it will be hard to shift on.

Personally I would stick to selling the vectra unless you really want to try an Octavia for a bit

I've always wanted an Octavia vRS which is why i thought take it, run it till it sells and then buy something else but you're right it would be a hard sell so think i'll give it a miss and concentrate on selling the Vectra. Especially just now as i'm presently un employed so need to start making money!

There was a lad at work who has just sold his 03 plate octi vrs with almost the same miles, had to look twice coz i thought it was the same car, he sold his for £2100
