I inflated my winter tires to 2.5 bar. In the manual it says 0.2 bar over summer tyres. It is ok?

Edited by laur

Std is 2.2 bar. Winter 2.4bar.

seems to be a few "deals" around

4 x 16" Skoda steel wheels plus Dunlop or similar 215/60/16 "winter tyres" = £700 - fitted to car

so say, £180 for wheels, £460 for tyres and £60 for fitting tyres and wheels to car ........... you can do better if you buy the wheels and tyres separately - maybe save £50 but have more "hassle"

The tyres that I was quoted for were Dunlop Sport M3

Not too sure if I need them as I live near Bordeaux - Nov thru to Feb/Mar - normal daytime temps are 5 to 10 degrees - falling a little at night with maybe 10 to 20 days of below zero evening and early morning temp

But we live in the country and the roads are not great - lots of leaves and mud around and it does get wet in winter

so I thought that I would pick up a set when I am in the UK in a couple of weeks time
