Huxley, sorry to sound stupid but can you explain your exhaust set up please. It sounds sweet and looks to be a lot cheaper than a piper system.

My system was standard up to the rear axle from there I had the back box removed and a 2.5" stainless pipe with a pretty exhaust tip added

I am on standard paper filter now they filter the best and are cheap to replace every 6 months or so.

Just received a polo rear wiper arm and blade from Ant which I got because my blade needed replacing so I thought may as well upgrade to a more convenient aero wiper system. I will get this fitted later on today.

Also had to replace the battery as the cold weather claimed my 9 year old original one. So I got a slightly overkill 680amp AC Delco battery to replace it.

I liked the Merc 8 pots I had but maybe go for a 8/9j on the rear and 7/7.5j on the front with 20mm adapters. I will make sure I test fit and maybe get the backs of the wheels milled down a bit to make sure the tyres clear the arches nicely.

Nipped down to ECP to get new rear wiper, G12 & coolant bottle to get rid of the annoying warning light I've had longer than I care to admit.

Old one.

10 Minutes later new one in.

Had to reconnect the rear washer pipe... again so decided to look how the catch can was working out after 12 months.

New wiper blade fitted on the polo arm.

Nice to see a panel with no warnings lol and running up to temp nicely.

I have decided on a GT lipped front bumper for my new direction.

Pretty sure they bond to the pre facelift standard bumper like you say. Will look good in black.

Yeah it saves messing with a vRS front bumper which are getting rare on the second hand market I've smoothed one I wont do another lol.

Wish i didnt chop mine up now. I fancy a facelift sport bumper to smooth but still unsure what to do. Just run the big mouth for track days then.

i think its the pre facelift bumper you have to bond it to, i could be wrong so double check
