I've no idea why I posted all these pictures. This car is truly disgusting.

In the world of cars, this one's a right munter.

It's Fugly.

:uglyhamme

:iagree:

How the hell do you get in the back doors?!!! :o

There's a hole in the window  Alfa style!

They've taken the precaution of hiding the rear handles in the rear 1/4 light windows. Why they've done this though is beyond me. It looked OK on the Alfa Romeo 156 which had the lines of a big coupe, but this Leon isn't even trying to be a coupe, so why delete the handles?

It's never going to be anything other than a 5 door hatch, it just looks odd without the rear handles.

i quite like it. thought the altea was rank when i saw shots of it.looks quite nice in the flesh.

still not a replacement for the vrs though

Looks like an Alfa.. Walter de silva should get a new pen, he still think's he is working for alfa!

I quite like the look at that to be honest.

Vastly better than the Altea and Toledo.

Talking of the Toledo , one went past me on the motorway and I found myself shouting "You bought an ugly car" at their rear bumper :D

Personally I think it looks quite good.

I know this is down to personal taste, but there are just too many things wrong with the design of this car. the interior is very nice, but that's about it.

The grille gives the car a big nosed look

the headlights should be more aggresive, they just look surprised.

What's that downward swage line across the doors all about?

The front overhang is too big.

The door mirrrors don't flow, they're too stuck on.

The angle of the bonnet into the rake of the windscreen makes the front of the car look bent.

The rear lights are stolen from an Alfa 147.

The side skirt comes into the bodywork at a jaunty angle, a la Chris Bangle flame surfacing.

The car looks cartoonish overall.

The wheelbase is not right somehow. It doesn't look in proportion.

That's it for now.

Like the interior idea, of colour match to the exterior.

That colour looks really rich

Corporate front, hidden wiper for aerodynamics, rear is nicer than the golf.

Steve

I reckon girlracer would like the interior, it being red :D

Stuff.

That's it for now.

I take it you dont like it then ?

i have just been discussing this with zboyd from cupranet.he took offence to some comments(in the nicest possible way )and linked this to me

http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/skoda_news/article_1218.shtml

i'll take the new leon anyday :D:D

edit to add, next time our server goes down,we have to find somewhere else to play :rofl::rofl:

I quite like that...much nicer than the Toledo. I quite the Altea as a MPV and this looks like that but with a lower roof line.

Fantastic colour.....I can see it now on the new Octy RS....lovely.

Agree with Ian about Walter di Silva...especially the rear lights....but at least he's making a better fist of it than his successor at Alfa, who now heads up Subaru design....that new grill is just plain ugly. If Scooby thought the bug eye sold badly...let them bring that new alleged new corporae grill......sales failure written all over it.

Nice interior.

Prefer cars that look like cars.Everything is MPV style ncap special yeuch nowadays.Nothing individual.Every single new car looks like the peugot 307.Horrible the lot of them

For gods sake I hope TVR doesn't follow the save the pedestrian campaign

In terms of niche vs niche, I'd take the yeti over the Altea, and the octavia over *that* Leon design study.... I hope they make the yeti as it;s nice to see a niche that isn't "inflated and bulbous" like all these mpv-alikes...

Quite like it myself, although I'm not too keen on the central exhaust or the body coloured dash.

I want one of those Yeti's they look koool :D

Nice interior.

My thoughts exactly. Skoda is lagging on interior ambience, especially if you take a look at the new Golf GTi when equipped with leather.

Going for a more conservative market and a different typre of buyer.....also having a Golf type interior would be more expensive I guess.

If Skoda was priced the same as the equivlaent VW then I agrre the interiors should be upto the same spec.

As it is I can handle paying

Love the colour of it and the interior but the syling is not my cuppa tea.
