Roomie Zoomie

Featured Replies

Hi folks, just thought I'd say hi. That's us just traded in a ratty 9yr old Ford Fiesta we had from new for a 3 yr old Roomster 1.4 TDi. First Skoda we've had, and only really switching because we've had some diabolical service from the Ford dealers in the past. Been pretty happy with the local Skoda dealer so far - just bought new floor mats - although the car itself came from a Renault dealership. Hopefully we can look forward to not dreading a visit to the service department!

The Roomie's my wife's car, and she seems pretty happy with it - we're still at the "new owner" stage, so appreciating all those nice little engineering and styling touches. My wife particularly likes the superb all-round visibility and the kids are loving the extra room. I'm pretty impressed with the performance - it's a biggish car and I thought a 1.4 ltr three-pot would be a pain on the motorway - nice to be proved wrong. :)

Anyhoo, I hope to "speak" to some of you soon on the Roomster forums. (All tips gratefully received!)

Bob.
