hi as a newbie to the site firstly let me say hi ...

i have a fabia 1.4 mpi on a x plate 2000 im just about to change the timing chain . do i need to remove the full oil sump ,

or can the cover be removed by just lossening the sump bolts i hope that you can help thanks in advance

The whole sump needs to come off as the oil strainer is bolted to the timing cover and the crankcase.
