after sellin my octy vrs i'am considerin sellin the missus 107 for somethin a little bigger. orginally thought mk4 gt tdi golf but then seen some fabia's for 3k ish. didnt even think of them cos the prices seem to hold better.

if looked after with history and stuff will they be worth it? see too cheap to me

will only be used as a daily, and at 02/03 plates i assume they'll be £130 for 12 months tax

depends really... earliest you'll find is 03, think most the early ones are 53 cars.

High millage on it's own shouldn't be a put off as log as, like you said, the histories full.... I'd be more concerned with anything that doesn't seem "quite right" when buying a high millage car though.

Very very very hard to find a vRS for £3k but that said that doesnt mean that they arnt around. As mentioned full service histroy, how many owners, cambelt changed and water pump etc... You can get true bargains seller could be tight on money and needs a sale asap. I know one of my dads friends baught a porshe boxter for only £5k turns out the wife was getting divorced she ended up with the car and wanted to sell it for pennies to real annoy her ex husband. Needless to say my dads friend was very happy with his purchase

There are one or two 03 plates but they were very early demo cars, I think the first deliveries started in Sept 03 so will be 53 plate onwards.

You can pick up some bargin vRS's now since prices have dropped recently. As Rob says, make sure it has a full history and you can't go far wrong.

The earlier cars have lower emissions and so are £115 to tax for the year.

On face value that looks very tidy.

Bloody Hell that's cheap!

Look straight as-well... Can't see any obvious repairs... the rear bumpers not *quite* on straight, but that could just be a slight rub in a car park and tired clips.

No mention of history though..

Doesn't look like it's been modded at all, but then... you can't really tell if it's been put back to stock properly...

Well worth a phone call if it's still around when you come to buy, though I suspect at that price it won't be.

I'm sure there's a couple on here for sale for around the 3.5 Mark.
