Hi, just found this site as found waiting for our Welsh Yeti very tedious.

We decided on the Yeti after seeing it at FoS Goodwood, but just can't believe how long you have to wait.

Our local dealer wasn't amused when we called in and asked him if the wheels had arrived yet - just hope it comes before the snow.

In the mean time, I'll keep reading your comments.

I went to my local dealer for a test drive now that they eventually have a 1.2 in. It was an SE plus spec with pano sun roof and I had more or less made my mind up not to go for the elegance that I thought I wanted and try to get the dealer to part with the demo. While I was out on the test he'd spotted an elegance with sunroof about to be loaded on to the ship. It was also in platinum grey which was what I fancied anyway.

It was ordered seconds later before anyone else spotted it and it should be here in 2 weeks. I just can't believe that it all came together so quickly, right model,right colour, right options. Shortest yeti order to delivery time ever? Possibly. Carlsberg don't make Saturdays but if they did......

Just need to see if I can sell the L&K octavia now.

you're not kidding. The fact that I was debating whether I wanted the elegance spec or the pano sunroof and then someone dropped both in my lap was just unbelievable. Come to think of it I really shoudl have done the lottery this week too

Popped into the local Skoda dealer this morning and was advised it "might" be late November/early December - 5/6 months?

I could have bashed up one out of sheets of steel by hand by then - why exactly is there such a long delay in supply?

Factory not capable of supplying demand, RHD model, something else?

diesels all going to china to meet the massive demand. Petrols are fairly readily available.
