No worries mate, the kit is from Darkside developments, Wardy could tell you the code as he has the same one fitted.

I don't mind though, what ever is easiest for you, how much extra will it be on top of the stage 1 and STS?

I have my 1.4 TSI Elegance with DSG booked in for 12 days time & cost is £349.00(that includes a £150.00 discount).Apparently the STS is not available for this model,which is a bit of a pain as I live near Glasgow and it would have been handy to have in view of distance/cost involved if any alterations are required.

I've got a couple of questions about the sts with my mk1 o4 fabia vrs.

I've only had the vrs a couple of months so haven't done anything to the engine as yet. I was going to get a jetex panel filter, bigger air intake and an egr delete before i had a map. I probably wouldn't be able to get this done before the offer ends. So my question really is, can you adjust the map again after i've done that including removing the egr fault code and light afterwards and is there a cost for each adjustment?

Secondly, the STS tempts me even more if there's a resale value to it? Say if i sold the car taking the Shark map off leaving the standard on. Would the sts with the map back on be able to be used on another mk1 vrs?

I did try and search to try and find the answer to these but couldn't find the info.

Your ECU is flash protected and cannot be programmed via the OBD port. I make this educated guess through experience, however if you'd like to try an STS unit (which is compatible with your ECU type, but if it's protected then no-one will be able to flash it over diagnostic port) then by all means we'd like you to. If it didn't work, then we'd offer you a full refund.

Hope that explains the situation, but if our STS won't work then neither will Bluefin.

I did a 150 mile round trip the other night. Not exactly gunning it, but not dithering about either, returned 57.3 mpg

If you drive it sensibly there is no reason why your clutch won't last a long while. Mine was mapped by them at 83k and is now on 97 and is absolutely fine.

Thanks not that it really matters, but how much of an increase? I've never tuned a tdi before, but have had excellent gains with petrol turbos in the past
