Yes it does, and yes you can if you'd like. Alternatively our STS is compatible with your car which gives you the ability to apply the map at home

I finally have the Golf GT sitting on the drive, had to settle for the PD140 which is good but defo needs a boost in power, I would like a stage 1 and STS, but I will be fitting an EGR bypass in the next few weeks so can the stage one include the tweak to knock out the CEL when I remove the EGR? Can you give me an idea on price for this?
