Where does it stop?

Featured Replies

Afternoon,

Where does the whole modifying thing stop? After everything I so I tell myself 'right that's it' but now I'm looking at hybrid turbos, clutch etc... Do I need more self discipline or is it some kind of addiction we have going on?

:)

I think it only really stops when you're pushing up the daisies

I'm in the same situation, thought that was it, but I'm now finding myself looking at coilovers and bigger turbos. :(

Once you start, you find yourself spending that bit more

+1 I never thought I'd modify the Roomster..... (well, SWMBO never thought I would :giggle: )

it stops when my wife eventually finds out how much I have been spending on my "cheap, reliable, small" diesel !!!!

CHANGE CAR, IT'LL START ALL OVER AGAIN. LOLemoticon-0140-rofl.gif

I've modded every car I've ever had to some extent

but none as much as the Fabia.

May be finally getting my hands on a cool weekend toy that I won't

feel the need to mod soon. ;)

You lot will be the 2nd to know when and if I get it. B)

It stops when you either run out of cash or there is nothing more that can be done !

Happy spending LOL ;)

I can't resist it!! Lol If I have the opportunity to purchase something I HAVE To get it! Lol

Its more a hobby, to be truthful I dont do it be diffrent or to have a unique car as some people portray modifying to be. I do it because I love my car and all the other cars ive ever owned. Im only 22 and I have modified every car I have ever ownend. My brand new fabia mk2 sport I said I wouldnt modify and I ended up playing around with it. For me there is something very rewarding about doing something to your car and seeing, feeling, hearning something different and usually better than before. In my view come another 20 years and am 42. fossil fuel engines will be reserved for the rich elite, who can afford synthetic man made alternatives of fuel to run them. Were as the average jo will end up with a hydrogen or electric car. And thats a shame because am sure ill get asked by my grandchildren "grandpa what was it like to drive an older car!?" to which I will reply "Better......"
