Just wanted to introduce myself as a new Briskonian.

I am Mark and have just purchased a Skoda Octavia (2010 1.6Tdi Elegance DSG)

So far I am incredibly impressed with Skoda. The staff at the dealership and with the car.

I was originally looking at getting a VW Passat, but the wife suggested a Skoda Octavia based on the saving we could make on a similar spec'd car.

I understand that quite a few people have arrived at the Octy having briefly idolised the Passat.

I probably wont be the most active member in the forums as I tend to be more of a reader than a poster. But I will try to throw my 2 cents in if I see something I might know about.
