hi everyone..quick question..went to sts tyre pro to get a qoute for two new tyres..was qouted for 234 punds for fitting and everything,tyre brand is bridgestone..should i proceed with it?any suggestions or ideas are much appreciated,thanks guys..

I would say what you've been quoted is not a good price at all.

Are your tyres 205/55 16?

If so, this company will come to you or your place of work & fit Bridgestones for under £160

Personally I would go for the 205/55R16 91V KUMHO ECSTA KU31 .£70.38 each all inclusive

If you're tyres are a different size, then still well worth checking that site out.

Tbh, the price you've been quoted would be more matched to 17's...they seem to be a lot more than 16's

camskill will give you a decent tyre only price - add approx £10 per tyre for balancing and fitting and you'll know what a competitive tyre outlet should be charging

Abla, I have exactly the same tyres, cost me £152 for a pair all in at KWIKFIT about 10 months ago! (Booked on-line).

Where about in Norfolk are you? I tend to go to Treadfirst or Bridge tyres in Diss. Got set of 4 conti premium contacts for @£300 not so long ago, fitted balanced & nitrogen filled. That's after I'd wiped out pair of firestones on the rears in less that 10k, not my first choice but was away and needed new rears in emergency to had to get....nicely sawtoothed and glazed, were hitting the wear markers before the Toyo's up front! Bridge tyres give a lifetime warranty too
