Fabia Radio Bluetooth Adaptor

Featured Replies

I am driving a 2004 Fabia Combi and I am wondering if there is any way of adapting the cars own radio to Bluetooth Compatibility. I am aware there is adaptors for such a purpose but I haven't been able to see one for the Scoda Fabia.

You could just get an aftermarket kit installed?

Thanks for the swift reply. I am located in Southern Ireland and was hoping to do this myself. Any other suggestions, bearing this in mind.

I'd be interested in this as well. Also interested in the one that means you can use your iPhone to play through the stereo.

Any info?

For this I would just upgrade the head unit. It will sound better and be far more user friendly.

I've got a Sony headunit from my old car which was brilliant and gave this function... It's single din- what do I need to get this to fit?

Just the appropriate aerial booster, which connects to the blue wire from the stereo. The red and yellow wires on the loom need swapping around.

Sorted- I've got the radio booster as well which is good. Do I need a din housing? And where to get it from is the next question?

Thanks :)

No all you need is the cage which should be with the radio anyway, and the little bit of trim which goes above the new unit to hide the gap, as the standard CD player is slightly taller than single DIN

Don't bother with the crap you get from Halfords etc for this as they are about £15 and don't match. Get it from your local dealer for £3 and it matches the dash perfectly. Just clips in place.

I just installed a Sony headunit...

Piece of pish in the VRS..

Remove old stereo and replace with new one. Just remember to add an AM radio adaptor to receive AM radio.

And dont forget the faceplate...

Its really that easy
