Hi I have a 56 plate mk1 octavia, the off side rear manual window stopped working. I took the door card off & found a broken cable. I'm not very clued up on cars but can I just replace the cable OR will I have to change the regulator thingy???? Thanks for any help...Cheers.

There's a VAG repair kit for electric windows so I would guess there's one for manual windows too.
