Track day was only £109 for open pit lane, this was from 9 until 12 and then 12:30 until 15:30, road cars only. I also psi £25 for the instructor, money well spent and on top of that, I paid for the daughter and wife to passenger at £10 each, helmet hire at £10 and also used £75 worth of petrol!

I also bought better brake pads for £75 so all in it cost £314 but next time I will not need brake pads and I will have no passengers either!

All in I think I would do it again.

Today it was time to get rid of all this salt from the last months..

not as much torque as a stock mk6 gti, plus the gearbox isnt as nice as the 6 speed DSG in the gti either.......... but for 14k loaded with extras i cant complain.

Some tollway permit stickers, German pollution badge and a few stickers from meetings. Collected them over the last 2 years. Someday I'll have a new windshield because of a stone chip and they are off.

Doesn't sound like a huge drop but certainly looks better. Put the 'before' wheels on, and it will look nice and sporty. nly other thing I would change personally is the black side strips, and have them colour coded.
