Nice one on the DRLs

If it is only the tailpiece then that is an easy fix - thank god it didn't fall off when going back home. If I was you I would give them a hard time, it is no laughing matter.

oh yeah mate they won't forget me in a hurry.the reason I know they where messing with it is i got a phone call the other week saying I had modified it and it was a halfords tail pipe, they also said my car wasn't a real spec and they didn't even bother ordering the lower bumper spoiler.well let's just say the fact the same guy was too scared to speak to me after that is a understatement !!!

Hello Friends,

some wonderful images on this thread, every single page!

I shall be placing an order for a Fabia Estate Greenline real soon, possibly a silver one, which looks nice.

There are some very clever people on this forum and I salute you all. Because I suffer with a bad back, I may not be able to keep mine clean, as well as some of you here. My current car is an Octavia Estate MPI - my first Skoda.

32KOFDATA, hello sir. I love your photography and your photoshop skills ( of which I don't have many, still trying to learn! ). What is your camera by the way? I have a Canon 7D, which I'm still coming to terms with.

marTTyn, Hello sir. I liked your image of the red Fabia - quite stunning!! What was your light source - or 2?

Once I recover from a recent eye operation, and when I get new glasses, I aim to learn more about Canon's DPP software and to learn Paintshop Pro X4, which I recently bought.

Frank. :)

Hello Frank and thank you for your kind words. :)

I got the same cam. You've made the best choice when it comes to semi-pro cameras. Invest on some lenses and you will be complete.

All the best with your new car

32KOFDATA,

thanks for the quick reply, my friend!

Great choice! Yes, the 7D is rather good - far better than my understanding of it! :D

I do happen to have 'L' series glass - 3 zooms, ever since I bought my Eos 3 which I still own.

Your images are stunning - showing the 7D's capabilities. Plus you're a whizz with PS, which I ain't! Do you use DPP?

I recently bough an ebook on Understanding DPP for £5. I now need to get down to reading it - once my winky eye clears up!

Frank.

I'm not a great photographer, I know basic stuff and experiment a lot. When it comes to Photoshop I'm much more proficient so what I lack in photography I cover with my Photoshop skills.

I've never used DPP but only Photoshop's RAW editor. I think it's very powerful and handy especially if you want to do batch jobs. Overall if you want to discuss more on the subject PMe. Let's not flood this post :giggle:

Is it a trick of the light or have you got 2 different types of wheels, a dark chrome one on the rear and a black one on the front

or is it a monte wheel on the back and vrs wheel on the front...

They look the same to me.... just the back one looks a little matt

Haha nope, it was just dirty!

It does have a chrome trim on there somewhere :)

Is that vrs/lowered suspension, it looks about the same height as my non vrs standard suspension.

Not very arty as this was just taken on my camera phone but thought you might like a pic of my new monte in the Anthracite colour

It's a VRS on standard springs :)
