Think i might get a private plate...

Featured Replies

Any plate that ends in FFS will fit the bill.....

Wonder how much that would cost? Then again.....

Expensive accessory imo, I do like it when it matches the car though :).

Anything which stands for "For F***'s Sake" is alright by me

Big birthday for me next year Bryan.........one with a 0 on the end. Common sense is becoming a rarer and rarer commodity. Bloody rules for everything and most of them make no sense.

I think this would be perfect, but struggling to justify the £800!!! :D

On the other hand,

AW53 FFS

is only £255! :)

Martin, has this been brought on by experiences on the road or life in general? I agree about that fact that people are seemingly willing to follow illogical rules and pass on the chance to exercise free thought. Common sense has been replaced by guidelines that are designed by people who tend not to have to follow them.

I'm not sure it's age related though. I've always been a grumpy old git, even in my teens. My mates reckon I was born with a moral compass somewhere in my mis 30s and a set of expectations from the 1950s. :D

Its just life in general tbh. From idiots on the road to even bigger idiots setting rules that have no logic or purpose. We had a BSi audit at work and we were criticised because the supplier who brings the bread to the canteen was unloading from the back of a truck with a tail lift without a lanyard or harness. Apparently if he fell out of his own truck he could sue us.....

FFS......:dull:

I work offshore mate, getting to the point you cant go to the loo without doing a risk assessment !!!

I worked in an oil supply company,(onshore) we had to attend a training course on use of the soap dispenser in the toilets, and further more received a certificate of attendance.

There were also operating instructions on the mess room FRIDGE.

to OP.

Have you had a look at the prefix plates, A123 FFS for example, generally cheeper and a wee bit rarer, especially if you can get the likes of D4 DOG - C4 CAT type meaning behind you choice.

not one you are liable to pick but as an example M15 FFS (Misfits)

I was going for a plate which a- didn't change the appearance of the age of my car and b- didn't look like a private plate. The intention was more for it to be a private joke :D

I've asked swmbo to get it for my 40th next year.:p

Going a bit off topic, do you reckon they would issue BO11 OCK? I suspect not. :giggle:

I'd like to think that they would...

SWMBO has said she'll get this for my 40th next year. Now, do I get this plate (which I can take from car to car) or shall I ask for a remap instead? Hmmm, what a dilemma!
