any chance of making some for the mk2 fabia? would love a set!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Look like copies unfortunately, i doubt Skoda would leave the circuit board shown to the elements, my genuine bmw lights from hella were LED and all enclosed you never seen any of its working, a simple plug was all that was there no wires etc.

Not for me cheap chinese rubbish.

@ apmaman. Sorry, no led for fabia.

@ grizzle. You think wat you will, but there are not cheap chinese rubbish. There are genuine parts from skoda china. Now, I'm home, in belgium, and tail light arrived at home end of the week. When arrived, I try to mounting the light on a friend car.

Hi, can you take a close up of the skoda markings on them, that shut shut the naysayers up!! how much for postage to UK, are they to fit the Octavia hatchback? can you post photo's of them fitted to your friends car and confirm that they are a straight fit with no bulb warning errors generated?

hello,

light are for limousine, not for the combi.

yes, i do fotos when the lights are arrived and more when mounted.

To run a group buy on the forum you must comply with ALL the requirements set out below, and prior to that I would imagine you would need to convince the membership, as highlighted above, about whether the parts are genuine.

For the timebeing I will leave this as a feeler, but do-not begin the group buy until you have satisfied the following:

If anyone wants to organise a buy then that person MUST contact a member of staff first to seek clearance to organise one. This is to ensure that the correct rules and regulations are understood and to enable a successful buy for everyone.

Once the above has been done and the GB has been OK'd, the first post should describe the following:

1) Some detail of product/service being bought and if possible, a web page for more information.

2) The standard price and discounted price.

3) The minimum number of people required to qualify for discounted price.

4) A set time limit over which the buy is to be run.

A disclaimer must also be included to exempt BRISKODA from any legal liability if problems arise from the buy.

It must also be stated that the buy is not an offical BRISKODA organised buy and therefore BRISKODA CANNOT be held responsible for any wrong doing that may occur.

All buy organisers will be subject to a "probationary" period. This is to ensure that buys are well organised and successfull.

If you have any questions regarding the above rules please PM one of the Moderators or ColinD.

Many thanks.

Yup - that was my fear.

There are obviously subtle differences with the China Octavia's - I'm guessing they don't display bulb errors :)

I'm sure somebody could probably use resistors to get them running without error - but a lot of cash to splash on a "perhaps".

hi,

Lights function correctly if you do a little modification on the electrical wiring.

Easy to do, but not easy to explain with my poor english O:-)

So, the origin connection in the octavia is done with 5 electric wiring.

The led light need 6 electric wiring.

The origin light have 2 bulbs separetly powered. We must take one + from one of these two bulbs and put into the empty space in the connection.

If we don't do that, some led doesn't function.

here is the connection.

1 new +

2 light + fog light

3 ground

4reverse

5 flasher

6light + stop

for the bulb error, we must do

  • Author

sorry, some bugs

for the bulb error, we must put resistor on the 2, 6, and maybe the 1.

Maybe the 1 because, there is 2 bulbs on the same electrical wiring.

If you remove one bulb, no error, if you remove the 2 here is error.

  • 2 weeks later...

did you get these working without bulb errors using the resistors?? still very interested in them!

  • 4 weeks later...

Were the Bulb errors ever resolved with these lights? any pics of them actually fitted?
