3" Forced Air Intake - Review

Featured Replies

The air box has two small drain holes in the bottom. This strikes me as silly as it makes the airbox able to suck hot air in from the engine bay, and we all wonder why our airfilter get so dirty so quickly. Would it be wise to plug these holes for better airflow?.

Those are there for a reason.

You wouldn't want your airbox filling up with water would you?

A bit of hot air...does it really matter? Think of how hot the air is getting in the turbo just after it's come from the air filter...

I'm actually running a very similar setup, but i'm still using the std paper filter - replaced every 5000 miles

I've used 75mm direct ducting

i may get hold of a solid stainless steel version of what youve done above made!

cant see that costing me much more than about £10-£15

ill get on that this weekend im thinking....
